The Lucillin Dolls Fun Collectible Cloth Dolls home of our finest all-cloth dolls. We are Cloth Dolls friendly and welcome all doll enthusiasts to participate and share our interest in doll making fun.
Founded in 1994 by Lucilda Evans and Mark Evans of Toronto, Ontario, Lucillin Dolls are original creations in
Multicultural Cloth Dolls for fun and pleasure of children in our International communities who need to identify with human realism dolls of different cultures. We love, promote and place much of our dollmaking emphasis on Multicultural Dolls, black dolls, and dolls of culture.
Being a self taught Doll Artist much affection has been poured into each Doll to project its respective character. I find Doll-making as a special giftedness innate in the Artist which may only be expressed in the created image.
I have since in my early childhood realized that creative passion within me for Dolls but never thought I might have taken it to this extent until recent years. In spring of 1996 I held my first doll show after which I became a member of The Canadian Art and Crafts Association gaining much insight. I later in 2001 became a member of The Canadian Doll Artists Association where I've been motivated by other Doll Artists to continue my practice. See doll creation story at
- Katrina © Storm Doll This All-Cloth Original Art Doll is created in memory of the fury of Katrina which left New Orleans a predominantly black populated State in a devastated condition to this day.
- The Katrina disaster has been felt by everyone far and near, the many lives that were lost, the many homeless that are still struggling to bounce back, the many who have helped and are still helping survivors.
